Although a somewhat novel wine destination, Lake Chelan’s wines have already garnered some awards. At Lake Chelan, you’ll be able to roam throughout the local vineyards while enjoying the picturesque views of the rolling hills and North Cascade peaks. If you’re lucky enough, you might even catch a concert or experience a music festival as well!
Just 15 miles outside of downtown Chelan is a Nordic skiing destination called The Echo Ridge Trail System. There are 21 miles of cross-country skiing trails that cater to all abilities. You have the freedom to enjoy the majestic views of Lake Chelan Valley while exploring the trails on Nordic skis.
A highly popular winter activity at Lake Chelan, snowmobiling is always a fun and entertaining option. With 170 miles of trails, this one is a no-brainer. There are three snow parks in the Lake Chelan Valley that offer trails for both novice and experience riders. Regardless of the trail(s), you’ll be able to take in the breathtaking views and scenery that the valley has to offer.
